R.J. Johnson - DJ-RJ

I inherited the love of music from my parents as a child. When I was in high school, I was given the opportunity to become a radio DJ. I started playing on the radio in 1985 at Austin Community Radio, KAZI 88.7 FM where I am still on-air every week. I am available during the day or evening to meet with you as often as you like to plan out all of the details of your event. I regularly attend advanced training sessions regionally and nationally to pick up new ideas and improve our performance by networking with the top mobile entertainers from across the country. John Taplin

John Taplin followed in his father’s footsteps and took violin lessons at the early age of four. He began playing drums when he was 11 years old and was involved in the marching band throughout high school. He has experience running live sound and currently plays drums for the Praise Band at Hutto Baptist Church. He specializes in Christian, country and top 40 music. John is married to RJ’s sister and is excited to be a part of Music4Life.

Nicholas J. Little

Nicholas J. Little has been passionate about music all his life. Growing up he went through several phases listening to and studying many types of music and culture. Nicholas became interested in DJing in 1999 when he bought a pair of turntables to teach himself how to spin records. He has played percussion, guitar, and is currently learning keyboards. He engineers live sound at various venues and festivals around Austin, has experience in studio recording, and produces his own music. He will apply his professional training and experience to make your event a memorable and special occasion.

Lori Taplin

Lori Taplin is happily married and has two awesome boys, Andrew (7) and Nathaniel (4). Her interests and hobbies include: spending time with family and friends, homeschooling, reading, working out, singing, baking, playing on the computer, and watching American Idol and Dancing With The Stars.

Lori grew up listening to her older brother (RJ) play ALL kinds of music non-stop and is one of his loudest cheerleaders! She currently handles correspondence for Music4Life DJs and is looking forward to meeting brides and grooms face-to-face at the next Austin Bridal Extravaganza.
